most pre made looms are pretty well
i used to fit painless years ago but now there are more brands on offer for a slight cheaper price

at end of day they all do the same thing

just need to see how many circuits u want to run

most use common colours too so most brands match in some respect

the fusebox is hard wired to rest of loom which is good

i never use a fusebox with spade terminals off it
due to wires falling off

its not hard to make a complete loom from scratch
u just need to know afew things

the painless loooms with save u time but its just fiddly figuring out the hazards and lights etc and adapting them to diffent types of switches
and flashers and column

these days painless looms are pricey i think
