Default Head & Cam Upgrade Question

I have a stock '89 injected 302 in my FFR MK II and want your opinion on my plan. I have a Cobra intake to install, so while it is apart I figured heads and a cam would be good. From what I have read, I can put Trick Flow Twisted Wedge heads with 2.02 intake valves on the stock engine with an E303 cam and 1.6 rockers without tearing it down to flycut the pistons.
First and most important, is my info. correct? I would hate to punch a piston because of bad info.
Second, has anyone done this and was the change of top end worth the cost and work? Any dyno info. before and after?
Third, What valve springs for hydraulic roller lifters and is the push rod length different?
Fourth, any pitfalls I should watch out for?

Sorry for all the questions, but I appreciate your help.

Steve
