Also, ask them if you let someone other than a family member (designated driver, friend, boyfriend, etc) drive the car, do they extend your coverages to that person. Some companies immediately reduce your coverage to the State Mandated Minimum. If that is so, and your driver gets into a serious accident, after the minimum insurance is used up, guess who is next in line for a lawsuit? YOU! And you will have to hire and pay for your own defense attorney as your insurance company will not defend you.
You Don't want to skimp here, your family future and assets are on the line.
Read the fine print in their policy for all the answers, not doing so can cost you $$$$$$$$$.
