Don't get me wrong though, I love the thought of owning a GT500...just not happy with the total package. No matter what...the next Mustang needs an independant rear suspension. I am tired of riding in a one trick pony.

Correction.... the Roush has 430 ENGINE HP, the GT500 has 430 REAR WHEEL HP. And the GT500 makes much more torque, which offsets the weight difference in a straight line. Trust me, I work on both of these cars every day, there's no comparison stock for stock.
Of course, if you want to do some serious corner carving, the Roush wins hands down.
