I spoke with surfer44 today, who had a similar car (CSX body on Hi-Tech chassis) years ago. He got the car from a company who manufacturers CSX4000 parts in West Covina, CA. He could not remember their name.

My plan is to cut the tubes on the rear cowl hoop. Once the body is down, I will somehow get the tubes in position and tack weld them in place.

Problem: If I get the tubes in place with the body on, the body might not want to come off.

If this is the case...I should weld the tubes in place after the BB frame mounts have been installed and the mods to the transmission cross member have been made to accommodate the Tremec. Once all the mods are done, stick the body on and hope it never needs to come off again.
Didn't I tell you that 2 months ago?
