That is sad. I have always locked my car in the carport and also the gates across my driveway. I take my door opener into the house at night and don't leave it in the car. Also I have a state of the art alarm system that covers the whole perimeter of my house and inside and out plus the inside of the garage. Around here that is the only way to keep the dopers away. They all know about my set up and won't even come on this side of the street when they are out prowling around. Also I have NRA stickers prominently displayed. A couple of years ago they cut a hole in the back of my neighbors garage and stole a bunch of saws and stuff, but couldn't get into the house.
