In my community, there is maybe 1 or 2 break-ins per year. Very low since I live on a peninsula. Bad guys do not want to be stuck anywhere there is only one escape route.
Even so, my house, garage and all cars are locked. It only takes 1 second to lock a car. I do not want to be a statistic.
