Send your axles to
Dutchman Motorsports Inc. and have them shortened. They do great work and fast turnaround at a very fair price.
Check out their website. When I had mine done last year, it was $84 per pair plus $10 per cut for the retaining rings. You'll need to ship your tripods along with the axles so they can get a good fit on the new splines.
