I had side pipes on mine, but they have been taking up space in my shed for many years and will never go back on the car (at least not while I own it). I have very short legs and making it over them is downright treacherous for me.
The car did lose some ground clearance with the under car exhaust though. Mine has the street car dash layout also. The downside is that the tach is hidden from view to a large extent. It's visible enough on the business end though.
