Is that why it is sitting so high up in the back?

I questioned the auctioneer about the motor mounts which he said the "owner said" it is setup for a big block. The frame looks just like mine which is # 17. It may be possible that the early cars were setup to use Mustang big block mounts which should work,I used Mustang mounts for my Cleveland, they probably when with the Fairlane style mounts later because they weren't reproducing the Mustang ones at that time.
