I am finishing a Cobra with aluminum backbone chassis, carbon fiber body, LS6 engine, T56 trans, Corvette Diff 3:42 gear converted to accept a driveshaft, and Corvette independent suspension. I am planning to put an LS7 in a second one but with a Daytona coupe body. The body is a fiberglass carbon fiber hybrid. It has a layer of glass to prevent print through and then a layer of carbon fiber for strength, stiffness, and to keep everything light. The finished car weighs 1900lbs. I'll let you know how it goes. I will be selling this car as a kit. Obviously a Ford engine can be used too.
