The requirements list is long and requires so much documentation it's scary. The FAA looks over your build, your shoulder, your prostate and places even darker and more frightening than that. Of course, I am fine with that; I'd rather not have to pull over to the curb when I'm 8,000 up.
The P-38 - which is no longer in my hands - is going to be a certificated airplane - no EXPERIMENTAL in big letters on it. It's got all kinds of requirements!
This little plane (it only goes 197mph) will be registered as experimental.
