Default Kirkham 540

(WARNING) Do not attend the 2008 Kirkham Summit! (YOU WILL COME HOME WITH A NEW KIRKHAM)if by chance you don't buy a new car, you will be greeted with great hospitality from the Kirkhams. If you havn't had the chance to visit their facility you need to take the opportunity to do so. It is worth the time even, if you are building a car from a different company. They can give you some great ideas on your build. They even sell hard to find parts, we have bought a few parts to finish our Classic Roadster.
Last February at the 2007 Kirkham Summit we ordered a new Kirkham 427SC. Along with the down payment we received special pricing and the car assembled to a complete roller minus engine and transmission. We took delivery of KMP540 in August 2007. The hardest part was choosing the right engine. In October we ordered from Keith Craft Inc. a new 427 aluminum engine with 2x4 carbs sitting on a blue thunder intake. Last week we received the dyno and balance sheets. The engine produced 606hp at 5900rpm and 589ft lbs of torque at 4300rpm we were pleased with the results. Today we took delivery of that engine. It was like Christmas in February. Now the work begins.
