MacGyver - Not only do have differences from state to state, insurance is based on your zip code and all of the standard stuff like age, driving record, etc.
John - 1,500 miles?? You'll do that driving up and down the coast a couple of times.
Hopefully you'll join the BACC for breakfast in Mountain View or Pleasanton some time. That's 75 miles round trip right there. I put 2K miles on my car in 6 months.
BTW - I went with NW Insurance. Agreed value and paid a little more for 5K miles.
