macloft, does that mean amount of teeth touching per inch for material length of cut? as for eg I cut a Jaguar HT suspension bolt and on a 14tpi sawblade, about a 2" length of teeth disappeared which probably was a bit hard for the blade and to small a diameter for the tpi?

Thanks guys for the advice and going reasonably fine with the teeth maybe better than coarse and keep it at 18-24tpi.
