This was my fault, I had a really simple pswd. I never thought about it, but it seems that people run programs or just try to guess using common pswds. At work, you get three attempts and then must have the "moderator= network admin" reset it (I actually wish it was 5). This limits the number of tries per attempt. I don't know if Club Cobra has a similar system since mine was too easy to remember.
I don't think they were sending Emails or posting as me, just trying to get site hits. I should have saved the site, but just deleted the name. Had I published it here in a complaint, they might have succeeded in generating more hits out of curiosity alone. Next time I'll send it to the monitor.
