The TKO 600 has much better gear ratios than the 500 as stated in an earlier reply. From your specs, I would not go with the TKO 500. Your 3.27 with small tires makes the TKO 600 the best choice. There is no difference in the life span of one over the other that I know of. Take the TKO600 with the .65 overdrive gear and you'll be very happy.
