I thought that heatsheilds were mandatory in the Australian states & territories that allowed live sidepipes?

I understand that heatsheilds will not eliminate the burn, but I thought that with the right ceramic coatings, they significantly reduced the severity of the burn if an accident occured?

I'm with you Baz...I really hope there's a way to manage this risk because I for one would not want to see anybody burnt...
