I've been a Bowtie guy for 40 years. Yes, I built my Cobra with a Ford motor. Why? Resale value. But like the old saying goes about Ford - The bigger the motor, the slower the car. Everyone knows that the first performance parts on the market are for a SBC, then a BBC then it trickles down to the "has beens".
I had to get used to the distributor at the wrong end of the motor and what about that firing order? Why put the
oil pump at the front where there is no
oil upon acceleration?
