if you want 'on and off' temporary protection for track or with the stone spitting tires , why not go to your local sign shop ( or whoever else supplies the material) and get some sheets of 'clear static cling' plastic and make your own. Stick them on when needed and pull them off when not wanted. I have seen them as temp stone protectors on rockers etc of show cars, rods etc and they should work well on front fender lips too. Guys pull them off when arrive at a show and put them back on for the transit, should work in your case too . Not much money and easy to use. Bill.
