The majority of the people don't go along with this or the insane car legislation. It is the money and power groups that decide what will be done here. The people can't vote on these bills as the Legislature is running out of control and just passing anything they can think of for publicity it seems. We go through a 15 day background check to get the gun, so what is duplicating that to get the dam Ammunition permit going to prove. The crooks will still get all they want. And some time ago when there was an uproar about the background check not being through on the purchase of guns, the state said they didn't have enough money to do a complete check as it would cost them around $400/$500 per check I think it was. Now this idiot wants to duplicate that to collect a $35 dollar fee for a permit to buy ammunition. Why don't they use their time to address the budget and other issues concerning the economy instead of these stupid car and gun bills. As deep in the red as this state is it won't matter long anyway as they won't even have enough money to pay themselves. I am going over to the range today to pay my yearly dues which I have let lag, and I think I am going to start stocking up on ammo now. I should be able to stock enough by the time the bill is passed to be declared a terrorist. ****, I may go to San Francisco and buy a machine gun from one of the black market gun dealers.
