May I jump in? Built a lot of Cobras and restored quite a few Contemporary's. Here is a link to "Soft Seal" who makes about any welting, body seals you can think of. This is what CR's uses on their bodys and after 20 yuears I have yet had to replace any. It's a very soft neopreme type rubber product that works well.
