I was instaling the second piston in my 393 when I noticed that the rod ends seems to have a direction. There is a bevel on one side of the rod at the big end and the rod bearing is offset to the other side. I'm assuming that the bevel goes to the outside of the installed rod pair. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Looks like I'll have to reassemble several rod/piston assemblies to get the rod facing the correct way.
