Darn Meat,
It sounds almost as if street racing down there is getting as bad as it is in Canada. I haven't heard so much about it in L.A. for sometime, but our news up here tends to ignore things like that unless they kill a few people. I guess that is one advantage to living in a small place where people are so scattered out. Only once a year can they seem to get more than maybe a dozen cars together and that is at the big Kool April Nights car show. And the few cars they can get to go to the drive in are mostly restored older cars and they don't race at all. Even breaking traction here is a $350 dollar fine.
