DonebyDoug, I was going to drop you a quick PM, and then I thought WTF, I'll just post it in an open forum. Today in the 'burbs of Washington DC it was supposed to be cold and rainy. It turned out to be in the mid 60's and blue sky. The first really nice day of the year. I had my ERA out driving a little bit and while it was back in my driveway I was vacuuming it out and a beautiful, tricked out Harley went by slowly and said something complimentary (couldn't quite tell what). He looped around up the street and came back and stopped and we ended up talking for the next half hour. Shortly after that two young mothers pushing baby carriages up the street paused briefly and payed some compliments and, as they were walking off, one said to the other "you know, I could really see myself in a car like that." Stuff like that happens all the time, but I forget it over the Winter. I can tell from the hour or so that I drove it today, plus the non-driving fun that it creates both for me and others, that I feel like a new man. That damn car is like a mood-altering drug or something. It absolutely works to make you feel great, feel happy, and give you that "all's right with the world" type of outlook. And boy is it addicting. Anyway, I was thinking of your "am I crazy" line from a previous message and I thought I would use today as an absolute, categorical, "No, you are not." You'll see.
