Man you guys worry too much.
Keep them clean, use never-sieze and a snap-on dead blow and you will never have a problem. The wire will not keep it tight anyway. The wire just tells you if is moving. You put the wire on with a little slack and if it is tight during the pre-flight- need to do something. I have the new pin thing it took a while to get used to them but now I am OK..
