I've thought about this as well... as the finishing on my cutouts is not the greatest. They're ok, and I'm probably the only one that notices it, but would be nice to dress it up.

I was thinking of something in polished aluminum (about 1/2" wide or so) to frame the opening... or (for something more discrete) maybe like some old door/fender trim in polished stainless steel. Lots of possibilities...
