I have lived all over the world and country; each area has its own positives and negatives. Kind of comes down to what you are looking for and in what priority...

1. Cold winters or rainy winters or no winters?
2. Warm weather or hot weather (dry heat is a myth, 112+ degrees is hot).?
3. Above with/without humidity?
4. Some kind of seasons?
5. Cost of living, low/moderate/high?
6. Access to cultural amenities?
7. Etc...etc

I think when you start breaking it down like this, list starts getting shorter and easier to digest.
