I checked with my insurance agent ( used for the Cobra, AMX and Corvette ) regarding errands and received the following reply:

Hi, Generally, if the sole purpose of getting in the car is to go get
groceries or the dry cleaning that's an errand. If you're out for a pleasure
drive and stop for a cup of coffee or a sandwich you're OK. All the classic
companies are looking for a low use exposure in return for the lower pricing
compared to regular insurance. The wording in the policy attempts to backup
this concept. They are not necessarily looking to deny coverage at every
turn but do look at each claim individually. I, as an agent, try to err on
the side of caution for my clients and say the farther away from the " gray
fuzzy area" you can stay the better off you'll be. In fact, if I feel
someone may use their car outside the rules of these classic policies I'll
suggest they do seek out a standard type policy where there are no
restrictions.
Hope this helps some.
Mike
