it is finished to the point that I made a huge mistake by listening to Pete in getting the car painted. I just know I want a top. I bought a top. Don't have a top. Will need a top. My lack of a top just is a constant reminder the the pinheads I have encountered along this journey. Sour grapes. Thanks Pete, time will always expose people for their true color. Your soft top will be coming to you. I have never made an "empty promise" concerning your top. We initially had horrendous problems with machinery that required complete repatterning of the tops and delays due to retooling after IMAR could not get the products we had ordered produced. Thus, requiring that we open our own upholstery operation. We had to struggle with the machines and tooling that were delayed for months. Now we are ready to ship 10 tops of which 30 are backordered but we cannot get the headers that get attached to the front of the top that sits on top of the windshield frames. The company that provides them has a monopoly on them and we have been waiting for them to ship from the U.K. for eons.The trim rings are not cheap. That's not our fault. I am curious. Where did you get the impression that there was ever any lack of trust on my part about your ability to pay? I'll send you 3 screws for the windshield today - no charge.
