I cut back the bush until it was level with the frame and then made large washers for each corner and clamped the frame between them. Effectivly there are no bushes. I also made washers different thicknesses and used them to adjust the K frame when I was setting up the tailshaft angle.
If I was doing it again I would remove the bushes and weld in tubes and plates. I don't think NVH is a problem in a cobra.
Once the car is on its wheels you will find there is clearance around the springs.
