Greg,
If you want to replace the bushes talk to a workshop that sets up skylines, 180sx's etc for drifting. They should be able tell you the best bushes to use and they will probably tell you to fit "pineapples"(machined aluminium rings that fit into either side of the bush). This will stop the K frame from moving and reduce the chance of the bush ripping.

While you have the rear end out of the car you should try to get a 3.7 to 1 diff from a manual 180sx. Just swap the drive shafts and back cover from the r32 gtst to 180sx diff and it will bolt staright in.
With this diff you will be able use 1st gear effectivly, get better fuel economy and be a lot quiter at highway speeds.
