I third the RTV COPPER SEALANT. Years ago when we use to do manifold, and header work all the time. We bought sheets of hi-temp gasket paper, and would ballpeen many of our own gaskets to an exact fit.

I have pinched a head gasket causing a coolant leak, and no start. I took it apart, and added copper sealant to the indentation, and the motor worked another 8 years that I know of, and it was a marine motor......GOOD STUFF
