Note PORTOMAN (post below yours) has just pointed out that we have just gotten done with a costly revamp of U.S. currency.
Printing must be more expensive than I thought. A small local restaurant said on the news, that it will cost them $3000 to print new menu's. They probably have 100 of them at most (my guess). The reason for the new menu's? They have to raise their prices because food is going up. Apparently the cost of new menu's is going up too. Great opportunity for fleecing consumers, I'd say.
