Vector1. Having worked for Aeroquip in the past, I have seen push lock hose assemblies survive 2000 PSI in a burst cabinet. Ronbo's concern is valid in that most hoses are rated for a certain pressure and temp. Under the hood of a car, the temp will cause the hose to become brittle over time, and ultimately leak. Even thought the price looks good initially, the ultimate price is not worth taking the chance.
