I'm sure this link on Bankrate is safe but even this sort of website could make a great start to a phishing site. All the scam artist would have to do is collect which banks people checked which would indicate exactly which banks they are likely to use. Then sending a very realistic looking query from ones own bank would look exceptionally legit, if it was possible to peg a particular computer through discreetly installed software. A fake, but targeted, bank site could ask for a log-in to review personal accounts. It would seem so real.

I checked mine, they're 4 and 2 like Ron's. But, just to be on the safe side, I would be quite suspicious if a directed inquiry from my bank followed my foray. So I checked a couple of banks I don't use also. Just a further thought.

Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get me.
