I am using the T56 with 3.89 rear gears and love it.

Jimi G (who is a regular poster on this forum) is the man on transmissions and will be able to help you on your decisions. BTW, in an earlier life, Jimi worked for a Cobra replica manufacturer in Ft. Worth so he is very familiar with the market.

Another BTW, there is a paint shop very near you in Ennis that paints a lot of Cobra replicas - David Braddy is the owner. From IH 35 on 287 towards Ennis, take the first road to the left past the Motorplex (Cooke Rd) . He is at the place with the white iron pipe fence on the right - shop is behind the house at the end of the road. I am sure David would appreciate a visit from another painter as they all painters seem to speak the same language.

I think it is a brotherhood of guys who have breathed too many paint fumes....LOL
