I've just tried going in and out of picture Galleries and they're loading fine at my end  
As are any of the other forum areas....I'm sure it'll be a simple fix 
OR....
Maybe it's the fact that I'm on my 7th can of Carlton and my brains in sync with the speed of the site!!!!
