Everybody b itches about the refs "calls" in basketball. I just do not think the scandal goes any further than the one bad ref. He is facing up to a 25 year jail sentence. He could have made those comments months ago but waited until the NBA finals to make the claims. Sounds like a desperate man trying to drum up some controversy so "maybe" he could be an informant to get a reduced sentence.
Anybody that watches a game could drum up a false controversy against any of the refs in basketball. A ref could call a foul on every trip down the court, but they know that would kill the game. So they let the really ticky-tack stuff slide.
Ron - you know the Celtic are the superior team and the LA Fakers are circling the drain.
Granted that the refs do make mistakes (humans are not perfect), but I doubt there is more than the one bad ref.
I could be wrong, but just my opinion. Of course, it helps when your local teams are on top of all major league sports
