After putting a beautiful third degree circle on the inside of my left ankle, I took your advice and bought the welding blanket. I cut a smaller piece for quick ingress & egress, and larger versions for covering the pipes for the ten minutes or so that the pipes are hot enough to injure morons other than me. Thanks for the good tip -- I really appreciate it.
