I have a healthy 460 in my Merc and use Castrol full
synthetic since changing the break in
oil. I use Castrol in all my engines and motors. Also I use Baldwin filters on the Merc and the Mfg'r filter on stockers.I read some tests on Fram and their junk. just my 0.02 worth on that subject.
The T-5 WC trans has what looks like a bearing cover on the opening just under the input shaft, it actually has a number stamped on it, if it looks like a soft plug than it's the STD version.
