I have to wait for the lexus that is on it to be finished. The body parts are in from CA. This has been a frustrating experience with a combo of probs and delays. Lots of finger pointing as to why it has taken so long. The bottom line is that Anthem delayed things and had to be bypassed, insurance company took sweet time in deciding what to do, lots of other cars at Scotts waiting to be done.
I don't know when it will be done.
The car will go on a frame machine. Once clamped in place, the frame will be measured and cross measured and if need be will be realigned to factory specifications. If Scott's is up to date with equipment, they will either have a computer equipped or laser equipped measuring system for their frame rack, if not, then they will have the older style sliding measuring system which also works just fine. Clearly the blame falls on the insurance company and not the body shop because the body shop cannot start work on the car without the insurance companies approval(s). If you were paying it out of pocket, then all they needed was your approval, but from the sound of it, it was a third party insurance carrier that was the hold up.....Just thought I could clarify that for you so you knew where to channel your anger and frustrations...........
