I am here to state (from personal experience) this last weekend, a wing nut flew off my Trigo wheel - slipping by the safety dowl pine on the knock off hub. I am Very lucky, and highly advise everyone who this applies to: Drill a hole in the knock offs (if one is not present), attach the safety wire from your knock off spinner to the wheel. There is a reason why this safety pre-caution was implemented back in the day....
