The jack stand on the outer frame would scare me. I always use the 2x4 part of the frame.

I like the idea of the rubber mount. I just had my side pipes off and thought it might be a good idea. The slip joint leaked fumes and caused an anoying rattle. I tried coper rtv in the slip joints. Made one side's rattle much better and the other much worse. It did fix the fumes though. I guess this winter I'm going to flange the side pipes and headers. I would recomend that to everyone especially before spending bucks on coatings.
