Default Google Preview, frightening prospect to all authors

Mucking about on Google and came across some colour pages of Trevor Legate's book [i]Cobra :The First 40 Years They say "limited preview" and tell what pages are missing from the many they have posted but seems to me letting websites excise whole chunks of your book and post them on the web is stretching freedom of the press a bit too far. On the other hand, they list all the main vendors like Amazon on the right so they could argue that it gives newcomers to the book a peek at the book and a place to buy it as well.

Wasn't this battle just fought on the internet regarding film clips on You Tube?
