Why don't you rebuild the T5 you have? Your transmission guy may have assessed that its cactus so ask him how much to fix it. There is no such word as "can't". The stuffing around you are going to do trying to save a few bucks may not be a gain at all. My T5 cost around 2 grand to rebuild 3 years ago and is still like new now.
