I have done work on both, I really don't agree with everything D-Cel says. I have pulled transmissions out of both, let me say that it is more work to pull it out of a SPF than a BDR. I don't want to get into one opinion over another, come and see me at my shop. Both are great cars and deserve your own opinion to really justify anything you want to know. I'll put both on the rack for you, at the same time. I will not give you a one sided byas opinion. Some things on the SPF I really like and some are over rated.
