Actually, NO, it's not counter-productive at all. I think while most of us have no problem with compartmentalization, we jest because for some odd reason you can't seem to grasp that CS was just a part of the whole. Of course, at some level we
all love him for being at the right place, at the right time, with the right idea, and for putting it all together. But, there is simply no virture in his behavior, probably then, and definately now. There is no virture in his attempt to rewrite history. There is no virture in all the frivalious lawsuits, and there is no virture in all the other childish antics that a better man would leave alone. The car and the legend are one and the same, otherwise there would be no reverence. But, that reverence was created by so many, on so many levels. If Brock, Remington, Miles, or any of those who played a significant role in the whole she-bang were/could act the ass, they too would be fair game for ridicule. And, why not? Whiners don't make good heros. If anything, we ridicule these antics for his own good. Otherwise, it's like keeping some dark secret in a closet, and it's just not the truth or healthy in the end. This bad behavior only dirty's his own legacy and he ought to know better by now.
Are you sure you're not Amy B. in disguise?
