One other thing to check is to make sure the rear suspension is mounted square to the frame. The mounting holes are not exactly slotted, but there is room for some miniscule twisting of the pumpkin when loosened, which can in turn magnify to about a full inch of fore/aft movement at the outside edges of the wheels.
