For a dyno run, I'd take a chance with the temporary repair. Why not? A dyno session is a
controlled session. Any leakage or drop in
oil pressure would be immediately known by all involved, thus an earlier shut-down would be the result (vs. ripping around a track with side loads, etc.). It's quite amazing what many have done with that stuff!
